Have you ever stopped to consider how you’re spending your time on the weekend?
Lately, I’ve been trying to be intentional with putting my phone and laptop away so I can be present for my family. I definitely feel pulled to check my phone but since starting this intentional living project, I find myself being more mindful with unplugging from technology.
I’m considering doing a detox from social media because I find myself mindlessly scrolling on FB. Something that has worked for me is to just set my phone on airplane mode in the evenings when the boys go to bed. This way, I can go to bed early and reconnect with John. Both of which are way more important than being on social media.
Wisdom of the day: If you like taking photos with your phone, put your phone on airplane mode. This way, you don’t have to get distracted with all the social media notifications. Commit to being more present with your family this weekend!
